Adventurer, Storyteller, Dreamer
I’m a computer nerd born in the late 1970s, yet oddly, still look like a 25-year-old. I consider Luffy from ONE PIECE as my mentor, and learning him, I decide to play life like a video game.
After getting my masters’ degree in CSIE (Computer Science and Information Engineering) in National Chiao Tung University, I started working in ASUS and MediaTek, two of the most prominent technology companies in Taiwan. Six long years later, I suddenly realized this kind of life was not really what I was looking for. So I quit my job, took my guitar, got on my bicycle, and started my quest to explore the world, in order to find my own Grand Line.
Spending two years’ time, I traveled through Asia, Europe and Africa, and cycled more than 25000km. After I came back to Taiwan—fortunately alive and well—I published a book about my great journey, 10,820,000 Revolutions. I am currently an international tour leader, tour guide, and lead rider coach.
I realized, after cycling around half the planet, that the most beautiful place on Earth is Taiwan. My current mission is to promote traveling on bicycles: by capturing the beauty of Taiwan on video, bringing foreigners here to cycle, and telling stories of Taiwan, I hope that Taiwan, this wonderful cycling paradise, will finally be seen by people all over the world.
